Description
The model IS-3 intrinsically safe pressure transmitter is designed for hazardous gas atmospheres (EPL Ga), combustible dust environments (EPL Da), and mines susceptible to firedamp (EPL Ma).
The IS-3 supports pressure ranges up to 6,000 bar [87,000 psi] and process media temperatures up to 200 °C [392 °F]. It carries multiple approvals, including ATEX, IECEx, FM, and CSA. A flush-diaphragm version is available for crystalline or viscous media and for applications that require residue-free cleaning.

The IS-3 is available with a broad range of internationally recognised hazardous-area approvals, including options for smaller regional markets. For system suppliers, approval combinations help reduce the number of instrument variants that must be stocked for different markets.
