Thermometers

Industrial mechanical thermometers primarily include bimetal and expansion (capillary) types. Bimetal thermometers utilize the bending of bonded metal strips under heat to drive the pointer, offering a robust, power-free, and vibration-resistant design ideal for on-site process monitoring. In contrast, expansion thermometers use the thermal expansion of a medium to transmit pressure through a capillary tube, enabling “remote monitoring” in demanding environments—such as high-temperature, vibrating, or confined spaces—where direct access is difficult. Both types provide stable, intuitive, and accurate temperature data for a wide range of industrial applications.
